Majority Whip, Rep. Jared Olsen, Announces Campaign For Reelection Wyoming’s Best and Brightest Days

(Cheyenne, WY) - State Representative Jared Olsen today announced his campaign for a fourth two-year term in House District 11 encompassing Historic Downtown Cheyenne.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve Laramie County and Wyoming. If I'm blessed to be reelected for another term I will continue to advocate for policies that promote a thriving economy for our citizens, robust education system for our children, a balanced budget for our future, and the preservation of our Wyoming way of life,” said Olsen.

As House Majority Whip Olsen serves in Legislative Leadership where he is uniquely positioned to advocate for Cheyenne and Laramie County. As Chairman the Judiciary Committee Olsen has played a key role in addressing reforms to our juvenile justice system. "Wyoming's youth need our support to succeed, whether in our schools or through mental health and substance use treatment, we cannot let our youth fall through the cracks," Olsen said. As Chairman of the Blockchain/FinTech Committee, Olsen has led the charge to further diversify Wyoming’s economy while protecting our traditional mineral and agricultural industries.

Olsen is a 4th generation Wyomingite and is committed to protecting our western way of life. He is a small business owner and attorney who operates a thriving law firm in downtown Cheyenne that is dedicated to helping our Wyoming families, businesses, the elderly, and numerous community partners.

Above all else Olsen is a dedicated husband and father. He is happily married, now 14 years, to his high school sweetheart Dani. Together they are raising three children (Eden, Noah, and Abel) and teaching them the same Wyoming values they both grew up on - independence, personal responsibility, honesty, and hard work.
